A morning ride
From a clear night
The first morning of sub-zero degrees is a special morning. It usually follows from a clear night, and the moment you step outside you feel it. The cold, crisp air. It´s November and it´s now.
Nature´s color palette has changed overnight. Green has turned into cyan and the low, exposed grass areas are encapsulated in delicate droplet jewelry, only serving their beauty until the sun rises and takes their shine away. It´s a good day to ride.
As we ride towards the classic hill west of Copenhagen, we realize that we need to speed up, if we want to catch the first rays of dawn. It´s a short, intense climb and brings warmth to our bodies and smiles on our faces. We´re just in time for the morning show.
We continue our ride, and are stunned by the shifting scenery – One section with cool, frosty vegetation and then next, a sudden shift to a group of trees in full, bright, saturated autumn colors – Somehow protected from the cold night.
We ride on, navigating through the forest, out on the open fields – Enjoying the fun challenge of the frozen, muddy trails. This is now – And the first of many. November is now.
Enjoy. There´s plenty more to come.
